Cyber Security Scholarship available for Fall 2023

The Illinois Cyber Security Scholars Program (ICSSP) is now accepting applications for Fall 2023.

This scholarship program is a CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) program at UIUC which provides funding for full tuition and a generous stipend to students that want to specialize in Cyber Security/Privacy.

The application deadline is March 31, 2023.

To be eligible to apply, you must be
- An US citizen.
- You must be either a College of Engineering undergraduate or graduate student with a focus on cyber or information security and privacy (undergraduates must be within 4 semesters of completing their degree to apply), or a School of Information Sciences graduate student in the MSIM or PhD degree program.
- Transfer students are eligible to apply after they have been admitted to the UIUC College of Engineering and have completed at least one semester on campus.
- Admitted as a full-time degree-seeking on-campus student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The goal of this program is to increase the number of cyber security professionals in the US government. We are especially interested in recruiting veterans, women, transfer students, first-generation college students, and students from underrepresented groups.

Please note that ICSSP scholars receive a full tuition waiver, a stipend, an allowance for books and course materials related to security coursework, and travel support for federal SFS job fairs and cyber security conferences.
